interesting one. very interesting. i'm not sure those tire rollers on a car-carrier are meant to handle those speeds for any amount of time... but i know of several dynamometers that use similar parts. the giant air-bag and the safety net were pretty cool too! i'm just surprised that the impact sensor kill-switch for the fuel pump didn't trigger. ;) it helps prevent fires and explosions. when the sensor is triggered by a sudden stop from speed it thinks you've been in a wreck. so to immediately halt gasoline supply to the car, the fuel pump is shut off by that impact sensor. there's another cutoff out there but this one's kinda controversial so it isn't universally used like the fuel pump kill-switch. it's a breaker that separates the car's battery from the electrical systems. this prevents sparks and fires due to wiring shorts. but since the horn, lights, flashers, and chargers for cellphones depend on the car's battery... yeah, you can see where the folks against a kill-switch for the battery are winning.
